LARRY R. SMITH joined Ritchie International in 1999 as Vice President and Sr. Consultant. He has successfully shepherded many clients, some of the most well known names in the food service industry, through the brand development process. In his current role, as Executive Vice President, Operations & Client Services, he ensures our clients enjoy every resource Ritchie International has to offer.

Mr. Smith's 32-year restaurant career included Shoney's Restaurants where he was part of the senior management team. As Senior Vice President of Training & Operations Services, he spearheaded the effort to change the company's culture and implement new training and operational systems. His additional responsibilities included Research & Development and Information Services departments.

Additionally, Mr. Smith was Operating Partner for Buckhead Mountain Grill, a full service theme restaurant in Louisville, Kentucky. In addition to his responsibilities with Ritchie International, he is the Managing Partner in Great Restaurants, LLC a franchisee of Shoney's.

Previously Mr. Smith spent nine years with Rally's Hamburgers, Inc. where he held the positions of Vice President Training/Human Resources; Regional Vice President, Company Operations; and Vice President, Operations/New Concepts.
